About the Unit

Point (pt): The point (pt) is a traditional typographic unit commonly used in print, and one of the standard measurement units in printed documents. 1pt is equal to 1/72 of an inch. Although pt is a physical unit and is not very common in digital design, it still has its use, especially when working with documents intended for print or when consistency is needed between digital and printed design.
